Christmas has come and gone…
always makes me sad
so much preparation, anticipation and excitement
then blink and it's gone.
The Living room was all decorated waiting for the kids to come home,
so great having them home even for just a few days.
The Santa tree skirt I made way back in 1983 for
hubby and my first Christmas …
it still looks great!
"Selfie" Family Photo!!
In October my son asked me to make a quilt for his girlfriend!
At first I though what you want me to make a quilt start to finish
in two months!!
Well mission accomplished times two!
A Patriots quilt for Matthew...
and a blue and white quilt for Emily!
She loved it!
Happy New Year!
Wondering what this year will bring??
My first quilt top finish!
Scrappy Trip Around the World
Here is a close up.
It will be donated to the Silver City Quilt Guild's
Comfort Quilts Program!
Another member will take it and quilt it,
then another will bind it
(great group effort)
and then it will go on to someone in need of Comfort!
The first weekend of January I was off to a retreat!
