Off to Vermont we Go!!
My sister Karen, her friend Susan and I packed the car
And set off for the 5 hour adventure to the
Strong House Inn for my Applique Retreat!!
Could not fit one more item into the car!!
Very excited about my new workshop set up!!
A new video camera and projector made it
So much easier for all the retreaters to see
All the appliqué steps!!!
The set up got rave reviews!!
There were eleven ladies participating in the retreat.
They each received a little goodie bag and a
Hand painted personalized place card!
“Action” shots of everyone hard at work!!
The retreat room is fabulous -
Well lit and nice big tables for everyone to spread out!
My ladies got started on their Applique Adventure!
Such a wonderful group of ladies!
And most of them want to return next year for a bag class!
They decided on the byAnnie pattern “A Place for Everything” bag!
And maybe Sashiko and Embroidery classes in the evening…
Stay Tuned!!!
The Inn keepers Amy and DJ were absolutely fabulous
But the hit of the Inn is definitely Bjorn!!
He is one Huge dog!!!
And so Fluffy!!
Til next year!

After Vermont…
Karen, Susan and I zipped over to the Cape for a few days.
They needed a few Lobster Rolls before going back home!
This cute zippered bag was made as a shop sample
For QuiltCorner Studio.
Just love this fabric line - might need to make a few for myself!
Pattern is Flying Geese Trio Pouch by Minki Kim
And I’ll be teaching this at QCS in November!
Another sample is the Lori Holt Zippy Pouch.
This is the third in her series of Zippy bags …
And just so cute and Fun to make!!

When I found this fish ribbon at the gift shop
“The Spotted Cod” in Sandwich I knew it would be perfect
For these fishy Open Wide Bags I was commissioned to make!
The new owner Loves them!!!
Last month I started painting this Iris…
Well - She’s finished!!
Pretty happy with how it came out.
my painting space - my happy place!
Have a great Quilty Day and enjoy the process!
